Ingredients
Liver: 1 kg (beef)
Butter: 2 tbsp
Garlic: 4 cloves (chopped)
Tomato juice: 2 cups
Tomato sauce: 2 tbsp
Salt: a tablespoon
Black pepper: 1 tablespoon
Hot water: 2 cups
How to prepare
Chop the liver into large cubes.
Season the chopped liver with black pepper.
In a frying pan, melt the butter.
Place the liver and stir until it changes color.
Add garlic and stir for a minute.
Pour the tomato juice, put the tomato sauce and mix.
Leave the mixture on the fire until it sticks.
Season with salt and pour hot water.
Leave the mixture on a low heat for 10 minutes. The longer the cooking time of the liver, the more it loses its internal juiciness and becomes dry. So don't extend the cooking time to keep it soft.
Serve the liver with white peppery rice.
